It’s not all Zoom and gloom
Updated: Feb 11
If the pandemic has taught us anything, it’s that we don’t want a world where we are consumed by screens.
Yes, this is our way of life at the time of writing, but what happens when the world is ready to reopen its doors? Will we still be clicking the dreaded ‘Join Now’ button?
Not if you have a local network up your sleeve.
Taking the time to connect with local businesses means you don’t have to gaze at distant colleagues entombed in Zoom’s stupid little boxes.
(Sorry, I lost myself for a moment there.)
But you get the point, right? You’re free of those digital shackles.
Ditching video calls to grow a list of local go-to experts means you can:
- Meet for a cuppa more frequently
- Build stronger working relationships
- Tap into each other's local networks
- Become a trusted specialist in the community
It’s a no-brainer.
All that’s left to do now is to decide which coffee shop (or boozer) will host your spontaneous meeting with your new local connection.
Mine’s a flat white, no sugar.
*Obligatory pandemic asterisk. Happy to meet on Zoom whilst we’re in lockdown. 😉
